Australian Christmas Gifts For Really Cool People

Each year you say you’re going to be more organized, and you’re going to have Christmas presents all wrapped by mid-December.

Well, guess what? There’s SEVEN weeks till Christmas Day. There’s still time to get it all done. With a large family, I always start early and from experience I know it makes life so much easier. I like staying home to cook the week before Christmas, so my gifts need to be all purchased before then.

This week’s blog has been sourced especially for the cool people you need to buy for. That aunty who has everything, the quirky cousin who’s always up to mischief – these websites offer something different. But best of all, they are home-grown Aussie shops. Most products are Australian made, but the businesses are definitely Aussie owned.

Let’s make this a Very Merry Aussie Christmas with Australian Christmas Gifts.

My man has one of these, so I can vouch for the efficiency and fun of the Bug-A-Salt. The BUG-A-SALT is the ultimate fly swatter, which uses ordinary table salt as a lethal, non-toxic projectile. The BUG-A-SALT has an accuracy range of within three feet, leaves bugs whole for easy clean-up, and is a sure-fire fun way to enjoy a disgusting task.

The Jig Saw Gallery has an amazing collection of jig saws for all ages. They also offer a made to order jig saw service using your chosen image. What a great gift for the person who has everything. Get in quick to allow time for manufacture and delivery before Christmas.

Alan’s Wood Things – Myrtle checker Endgrain Tasmanian oak Blackwood and Myrtle.

Alan’s Wood Things

FROM TREE TO TABLE – beautifully crafted timber worked for you by an outdoor man.

142 Wooden Heart

Meet Enrico, the artisan behind 142 Wooden Heart. Enrico was born and raised in a small country town near Venice, Italy. He has always been captivated by woodworking. As a child, he carved fishing rods, swords, and tools from fallen branches and driftwood.
Since moving to Australia, Enrico has immersed himself in its natural beauty. He’s dived with great white sharks, paddled in glistening seas, and swam alongside dolphins. This deep love for the ocean inspires all his designs. He uses reclaimed timber to create ocean-inspired artwork celebrating nature, beauty and sustainability.

Blessington – The Crocodile. Swiss Quartz Watch.

Blessington

Blessington was started with a goal of creating the “Australian watch”, a brand that disrupts the conventional watch industry but avoids falling into a gimmick. The creators wanted to highlight areas of Australia and talk about the people that give the area personality.
I really want to gift one of these – they’re gorgeous.
